World Environment Day Celebration – 2015
A special assembly was conducted in connection with World Environment Day Celebration. The chief guest of the program was Rtd Agricultural Officer Mr. T.S. Viswan, who won State Award Karshakamitra in the year 1995. He got a national award for Best Coconut Development worker in 2006 and an International Award Swadesi Kera Puraskar in 2003. He introduced the concept of Inter Cropping and Organic Vegetable Farming. The program was presided over by our Principal Mr. Issac. After the inaugural ceremony, the chief guest spoke about Protection and Conservation of Environment. All the students took an oath to protect the environment. Believer’s Church English Medium School opening fest was started on June 1st by extending a warm welcome to the newcomers to the BCEMS family. Mr. C.V Issac (Principal, BCEMS) presided over the function. Dr. B. Padma Kumar (Professor, Govt. Medical College) inaugurated the opening fest by lightning the traditional lamp in the presence of HM in-charge and PTA members. The teachers and students welcomed the new members and gifted them with bouquets. The opening fest was also taken as an opportunity to honor the seven students, who got full A1 grade for all subjects in the 10th grade CBSE board examination 2015.
